PICTURE of the day: Another reassurance patrol in Nad-E Ali

Getting out and about to provide security to the population is key to our work in Afghanistan. When ever we can we go out on reassurance patrols to do just that – reassure the people that we are there for them and that we are there to make life better.

Yesterday and today the men from 1 Royal Welsh were out with the Afghan National Army, partnered together working hard to ensure a future for the people in this part of Nad-E Ali. All over Helmand and Afghanistan soldiers from ISAF are working alongside the Afghan National Army and the Afghan National Police, building for the future.

These are just some of the pictures that let you see what we saw.
